Signs You Need Your Business' Heater Repaired

Higher Heating Costs

If you’re comparing your electric bills from last year to this year during this specific season and there’s a significant difference, your HVAC system could be overworking and over-running to heat your commercial space without you even realizing it. Our team can inspect your system to see if there are lingering efficiency issues and diagnose potential problems.

Strange Sounds

If you or your customers in your commercial space notice loud or strange noises like squealing or banging sounds, you should turn your system off and contact us to take a closer look. If your space is smaller, this will become more noticeable and disrupt operations within your business.

Unpleasant Odors

Are you noticing odd smells in your restaurant or shop? Issues like refrigerant leaks and Microbial growth can cause odors like these to flourish– and you don’t want them to! Let our team of experts help handle these repairs.

Uneven Heating

Uneven heating could be a potential problem if either your system is too small for your building or if your ductwork is damaged. Our professionals can detect these issues and repair them right away. In extreme cases, it’s best to make an emergency call to Crossroads Mechanical, Inc., and let us handle it quickly!

Commercial Heater Repairs

Did you know that your commercial AC system should be serviced at least twice a year? At Crossroads Mechanical, we believe it’s best to schedule tune-ups and routine maintenance checks during the spring and fall seasons since these are the times that your systems will experience the most significant temperature changes. We can help prolong the life of your system by completing visual inspections, changing the filters regularly, clearing drainage lines and evaporator and condenser coils, and re-calibrate your system as needed.

Jeff Bauknight President of Crossroads Mechanical, Inc.

Meet Jeff Bauknight: The Force Behind Crossroads Mechanical

Jeff Bauknight isn’t just the President of Crossroads Mechanical, Inc., he’s the heart and soul behind the firm’s mission to serve. Born in Austin and raised in the lovely city of Victoria TX, Bauknight is no stranger to the Lone Star State’s heat.

With both a bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the esteemed Texas A&M University, Bauknight began his professional journey as an E.I.T. engineer at a leading MEP engineering firm in San Antonio. But that wasn’t the pinnacle. He further expanded his horizons by venturing into Construction Project Management at Intel Corporation, playing a pivotal role in Fab Building construction projects spanning locations from Oregon to Ireland.

Yet, the call of home was irresistible. In 2004, he returned to Victoria, marking the birth of Crossroads Mechanical, Inc.

Service doesn’t end at business for Bauknight. Embracing a fervor for community and industry involvement, he’s honored to serve as the Treasurer for the Associated Builders and Contractors State Board. And if you’re wondering about his dedication to Victoria, it’s noteworthy that he’s the current Mayor, having served the City Council for eight impactful years.

His affiliations don’t end there. Bauknight is a proud member of the Victoria Sales Tax Development Corporation, Victoria Economic Development Corporation, and Legislative Committee boards. He’s also recognized as a founding board member for the Mid-Coast Construction Academy, with significant contributions to the ABC Mid-Coast Chapter Board.

On the personal front, Bauknight finds joy and support in his family. He’s blessed to be married to J. Lynn and together, they cherish the moments with their two beautiful daughters.
